Dr. Wilson is a Board Certified Neurological Surgeon with advanced training in the surgical management of the spine. As graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin Neurosurgical program, Dr. Wilson spent 7 years training under Sanford Larson, MD. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Racchidian Society. A sought after speaker, Dr. Wilson has educated thousands on conditions affecting our spines. He is able to perform his procedures using minimally invasive approaches which limits the post-op pain and returns the patient to work much quicker. Most of his patients leave the hospital with a band-aid several hours after completion of the procedure. However, rest assured that surgical intervention will be timely and used as a last resort. Dr. Wilson treats compressive and unstable conditions of the cervical and lumbar spine thru a variety of approaches dictated by the pathological state. He is a firm believer in utilizing surgery when indicated but also believes that most patients will heal on their own and are not surgical candidates. Other areas of expertise include brain tumors, peripheral nerve surgery, seizure surgery, pain management and kyphoplasty. Dr. Wilson is an expert in the fusion of technology and medicine and can offer his patients cutting edge performance.
